Bret Johns is a 1990 graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Management. He started his insurance career with GE Capital and then joined Mann Insurance Agency, Inc. in 1999. He has involved himself in the community as a board member of the United Way of Orange County, as a deacon at First Presbyterian of Orange and has served on the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Orange. He is an active member of the Orange Lions Club. Bret enjoys his free time with family, wife Rebecca, and two children.

Shane Johns joined his brother Bret at Mann Insurance Agency, Inc. in January 2005. Active in civic and nonprofit service, he chaired the Planning and Zoning Commission for seven years, served as Treasurer of the City of Orange Economic Development Corporation, and sat on the boards of Orange County Crime Stoppers and the Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce. His United Way service included board membership beginning in 2006, Campaign Chairman in 2009, President in 2011, and Treasurer from 2015–2020. He also served on the St. Mary Catholic School board and coached middle school basketball from 2012–2016. A Lamar State College-Orange Foundation member since 2009, he served as Treasurer from 2018–2025 and is now Chairman. He has served on the Kiwanis Club executive board since 2007 and as President in 2007–2009, 2019–2021, and 2023–2025. Shane has two daughters, one a Northern Arizona University graduate and the other enrolled in Frisco ISD. He enjoys golf, southern New Mexico’s mountains, visiting Dallas, and farm life with fiancée Donna Darby and her two sons.

Joanie Becker was born and raised in Orange, graduating from West Orange Stark in 1982. Joanie received her insurance license in 2002 and joined Mann Insurance Agency, Inc. as our lead Customer Service Representative in September of 2008. Joanie proved herself as an invaluable resource as we dealt with storm and claim issues. She assists the agency, and her clients, to navigate all of the new carrier requirements and guidelines. Her vast knowledge of company capacity and underwriting rules makes her a true asset for her customers. Joanie enjoys working in her yard, spending time with her family and friends, and her most recent love is spending time with her grandchildren who keep her busy with sports and dance.

Katrina Villanueva was born and raised in Texas. She has been married to Jeremy for 20 years and has 3 beautiful children. Katrina has an Associate’s Degree of Science in Business Administration from Everest University, and she became a licensed agent in 2012. She joined Mann Insurance Agency in November of 2021, where she was thrown into the agency at a time where we were losing a longtime employee. She not only took over those responsibilities but also gained the admiration of her new clients very quickly. Her patience and knowledge for carrier guidelines and appetites make her an incredible resource for her clients. She is the “friend in the industry” you want to have on your side. When she isn’t helping her clients, Katrina enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and reading.
